Permits the operation of any single vehicle used in commerce if the vehicle has a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,001 or more pounds but less than 26,001 pounds.

The test to get your Class "D" License is given on a computer at the OMV (DMV). It costs $54.75 and you are only charged if you pass.
(Creating an account with the OMV is not necessary to book an appointment.)
